Indian Railway Health Service Association (IRHSA), the largest representing the official society of Indian Railway Doctors was established in its present form on 28th January 1990. IRHSA is the national association of Indian railway doctors of various specialties across pan India. It provides primary, secondary, and tertiary care in the form of health units, sub-divisional hospitals, divisional hospitals & central hospitals. It has more than 2500 doctors who are selected through UPSC and serve all over the country. The beneficiaries are more than 1 crore railway employees and their dependents along with retired employees. It provides promotive preventive and curative treatments.
